The director of the Global Business Power Corporation articulated Alfred Ty, energy demand in the Visayas region will increase dramatically in the near future and enough power plants to be implemented to meet this growing demand. Alfred Ty also mentioned that the company is planning to produce an investment of energy around 492 million U.S. dollars and investment in energy will be used for the construction of a pair of 82-megawatt plant in Iloilo City and the city of Toledo. These two power plants will add 246 megawatts of energy to meet future demand.
